Welcome to the Relaunch of FORMULA MotorSport.com
It's difficult to image that the American Le Mans Series' first landmark event took place
at Sebring ten years ago. But, in fact, the "Race For the Ages" celebrates it's tenth
anniversary this month at the fabled airport circuit.
FORMULA MotorSport.com looks back on this, the most tightly contested race
in Sebring history, as BMW celebrated it's first overall victory since 1975 with
the incredible LMR-V12 and now legendary drivers J.J. Lehto, Tom Kristensen and Jorg Muller
in a performance which threw down the gautlet for competition in the ALMS for the next decade...
